Jaded in the City

From my mother's Halloween visit to the Big Apple last weekend, at 125th Street 2/3 train stop:

Me: "Heehee. Mommy, look at the mouse on the tracks."
Mom: "*SCREAMS* Mouse?! That rat is the size of a WHOLE RABBIT!!!"
Me: "Haha, are you kidding me? That's hardly a rat."
Mom: "This city has destroyed your soul."
